A runaway truck, heavily loaded with construction supplies, hits a house in a poor neighborhood in São Paulo, Brazil. At the time of the accident, there were 7 people inside the house. A 54 years old lady died, and 2 of her kids got hurt. The house was ruined.
Every year, National Geographic Magazine takes Photocamp to several places all around the US and the world. NG photographers and editors bring photography to the lives of kids and teenagers from these communities. In July, 2007, New York Photocamp was realized in Jackson Heights, Queens, with students from Newcomers High School. Photographer Ed Kashi was there. Check out the video.
